To facilitate the construction works in North Point, Temporary Traffic Arrangements will be/have been implemented as follows:
a) Retrofitting of a pedestrian crossing at Wing Hing Street (near Hing Fat Street) and realignment of kerb line at Wing Hing Street have been completed. The new pedestrian crossing was opened for use on 8 January 2021, while the existing crossing at Hing Fat Street was then closed. The outstanding works at Hing Fat Street will be completed in the first quarter of 2021 tentatively. For more details, please refer to below leaflet.
b) To facilitate the works of Central – Wan Chai Bypass, temporary traffic arrangements was implemented at Island Eastern Corridor Eastbound since mid September 2020. For more details, please refer to below poster .
c) The access connecting Watson Road and Harbour Heights has been reprovisioned and was re-opened from 11:00am on 29 August 2020. For more details, please refer to below leaflet .
d) In response to the latest traffic condition at Hing Fat Street and opinions collected from the nearby residents, road improvement works at Hing Fat Street, Wing Hing Street and Gordon Road commenced in mid-August 2020. For more details, please refer to below leaflet .
e) Further to a trial run conducted during 5 to 23 September 2019 on the section of Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) westbound between Henrietta Secondary School and Harbour Heights, temporary traffic arrangements on IEC westbound has been implemented from 23 October 2019 to facilitate road works and the installation of remaining noise enclosures.
